"OpenForum" is just that.  This email list is an unmoderated open forum for all issues pertaining to water and land management activities in the Owens Valley.  Because any subscriber can post messages to this list, the OVC is not responsible for its content.  While the list is not moderated, we encourage people to display good citizenship and maintain civil language and content.  Individuals who do not or who post items unrelated to water and land management activities will be removed and barred from the list.  The subscriber list cannot be obtained by subscribers and will not be released by OVC.

Subscribing, unsubscribing, and posting to e-mail lists

Most email commands are given by including an option (additional word) in the "To:" field of your e-mail program.  To subscribe to "OpenForum" or "OVC" simply send a blank e-mail with the following in the "To:" field.

OpenForum-subscribe@ovcweb.org or OVC-subscribe@ovcweb.org

To unsubscribe send a blank e-mail to:

OpenForum-unsubscribe@ovcweb.org or OVC-unsubscribe@ovcweb.org

To post a message to the "OpenForum", simply send an email to "OpenForum@ovcweb.org" and your message will be sent to all the subscribers of the list.  Subscriber posts to the "OVC" are not allowed.
